Our club contest concluded with 4 speakers for international speech, 8 speakers for table topics and 2 speakers for humorous speech! 🤩🥳 We heard a heartfelt story of friendship but what took home the trophy was how we should take the path less traveled. 💪🏻 Everyone had a good laugh from Terry’s illustrations of challenges that non-native speakers face when they learn English. Melvin drew laughter with his very relatable depiction of the CNY festive questions from concerned uncles and aunties. 😂🤣 Our table topic of the day was: If you knew you could not fail, what would you try? To which, we heard a number of brave declarations of love ❤️ What would you do if you knew you wouldn’t fail, and why not start now? 😊
