Luke S. Montana
President
Always strive to be the best version of yourself
Over the working years, Luke began understanding the importance of communicating and presenting in a professional setting. It is this realisation that brought him to embark on the journey with Toastmasters.
It is here in BVTMC that he found his safe space and comrades that share not just the passion for public speaking but also possessing the spirit of fun.
In his leisure time, Luke enjoys football, music and movies.
Alayna Seah
Vice President, Education
If it is meant for you, it’ll find you again.
Alayna remembers visiting toastmasters for the first time at 15. She vowed never to return but as fate would have it, she knew she had to face her speaking fears, so she returned to the community more than 10 years later.
These days, she aims to speak at least once a month. When she’s not on stage, she’s probably dancing, hiking, or doing improv!
Wing Yan Cheng
Vice President, Education
While others have a strong fashion sense, I have a strong sense for snacks.
I love to eat, but my tummy is small. I want to speak up, but stage fright has me tongue-tied. Still, I’m working on conquering both—so I can eat more and shout about it louder!

Juliana Tan
Vice President, Membership
“Progress is achieved by working on yourself”
Despite her packed work schedule, Juliana would never neglect her passion for baking. She tries out new recipes often to pamper her loved ones.
She is known to be a person who listens attentively and is very patient. This allows her to be extremely fulfilled in her daily life, both at home and at work.
Her philosophy of success is “Always strive to be Better than Yesterday”.
Vera Zeng
Vice President, Public Relations
Let’s do public speaking together!
Vera loves writing, giving speeches and crafting poems! She gets nervous about every presentation but enjoys the stage time.

Sarah Swee
Secretary
“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart…“
Sarah lives by the belief that no matter what situation she’s placed in, she should always give it her best shot and surrender the results to God. Any forms of perceived “failure” are steppingstones for growth!
Striving to overcome stage fright, Sarah joined BVTMC. Despite the nerves, she cherishes this platform where she can speak about topics close to her heart, like gratitude. Toastmasters has been a safe space for Sarah to experiment with various communication styles and exco duties.
Professionally, Sarah works in the social service sector, and she believes communicating with seniors is a whole different ball game. These days, she’s dabbling in therapeutic art, experimenting with weird food concoctions, and on the hunt for the best iced chocolate.
Futa Mimoto
Treasurer
Come join Toastmasters and become a part of BVTMC too!
Futa has always admired street performers who captivate their audience with nothing but their own presence. One day, when he visited a Toastmasters meeting, he felt the same sense of awe – mesmerizing the audience with just their speech, no props. Wanting to experience this himself, Futa joined BVTMC. As expected, it has been an amazing experience.

Huang Junda
Immediate Past President
“If not now, then when?”
When approaching goals and dreams, Junda strongly believes in the mantra above, as “One day” will never come if you don’t make concrete plans and steps for it today.
Junda also enjoys Latin social dancing like Salsa and Bachata. If you’re interested to learn, simply ask him! With a keen interest in personal finance, Junda could easily pass off as a staff from Central Provident Fund (CPF) board from the way he speaks passionately about CPF.
Junda is also a mentor in BVTMC. Find out more about our mentors here!
Shantanu Raoke
Chief Mentor
“A healthy mentorship system is the key to unlock a member’s full potential“
Shantanu is a firm believer in the mentorship program that Toastmasters provides. Hence, he aims to strengthen the mentorship in BVTMC by guiding mentors to give optimal support to their mentees vis-a vis speaking and leadership.
In his free time, Shantanu is either whipping up culinary creations, savoring tantalising food, hitting trails on his bike, or crafting pottery pieces.
